NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has officially announced plans to implement his first-in-the-US policy requiring proof of COVID vaccination in order to participate in indoor activities like dining indoors, and going to the gym. As the NYT reported earlier, the policy will be phased in this month, taking full effect when school begins in September.
